Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) is committed to making medical education affordable and accessible to all qualified applicants. TUSM offers several tuition options and ways to finance your medical education. Tuition for the 2021-2022 academic year for the MD program is $60,741. This amount includes tuition, fees, health insurance, and the cost of textbooks. Financial aid is available to help offset some of this cost. TUSM provides need-based grants and scholarships as well as loans from federal, state, and private sources. Students may also be eligible for loan forgiveness programs if they meet certain criteria. Additionally, TUSM has established a Resident Loan Repayment Program that provides up to $100,000 in loan repayment assistance over a four-year period for eligible students who commit to practicing in an underserved community after graduation.
