Medical education in Wyoming is provided by the University of Wyoming School of Medicine. The school offers a four-year medical degree program, which is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). The curriculum includes classroom instruction, clinical rotations, and research opportunities. Students also have the option to pursue dual degrees in public health or health care administration. The school also offers residency and fellowship programs in various specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, surgery, and others. Additionally, students may take part in a variety of experiential learning opportunities at rural clinics and hospitals throughout the state.
