850/1900 GSM, 3G (850/1900/1700 Mhz) and 4G (700/1700 Mhz). Only in the more remote areas is the network coverage sometimes not comprehensive. Mobile operators include Claro and Sprint. European cell phones are not compatible with the cellular networks of the main providers in Puerto Rico, so purchasing a cell phone locally along with a prepaid SIM card is recommended

WiFi is often available free of charge mostly in hotels, in some restaurants and cafes, and in business centers. There are internet cafes in San Juan and other cities.
Post office
Mail to Europe takes about a week with the US Postal Service. Stamps are available in the shops where postcards can be bought. Hotel receptions accept letters for a tip of approximately US$1.
