Tri-band network, GSM 850/1900, 3G and 4G. The transmission/reception range is limited to urban areas. Network operators are Personal and Claro and Tigo. Roaming contracts exist. Nevertheless, it may be worth purchasing a mobile phone locally and a Paraguayan prepaid SIM card.

Internet providers include Personal, Claro and Tigo. There are internet cafes in the cities. In the big cities, all hotels and most restaurants, bars and cafes provide their guests with free WiFi.
