Tuition & Financial Aid: Oregon Health and Science University

Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine (OHSU) offers a Doctor of Medicine degree, as well as Master’s and PhD degrees in the biomedical sciences. Tuition for the MD program is $50,000 for residents or $60,000 for non-residents. Financial aid is available to those who qualify and can include scholarships, grants, federal loans, and private loans. OHSU also offers an MD/PhD program where students can earn both an MD and a PhD in a combined seven years of study. The tuition for this program is slightly higher than the MD program at $51,500 for residents or $61,500 for non-residents. OHSU provides need-based financial aid packages to eligible students enrolled in the MD/PhD program which may include scholarships, grants and federal loans. Additionally, OHSU has need-based loan programs available to those who demonstrate financial need such as the Federal Perkins Loan Program and the Medical Student Loan Fund Program which can provide low interest rate loans up to $20,000 per year.
