New Jersey Attractions
Atlantic City
Atlantic City is located approximately 200
kilometers south of New York. The city was once very
important as a seaside resort, but it began to
decline in 1978. In order to maintain its importance
for tourism, the state of New Jersey permitted
gambling. Since then, Atlantik City has been as much
a gambler's paradise as Las Vegas. If you can't get
a chance to visit the numerous casinos, stroll along
the Broadwalk in the city center and take a ride on
the Broadwalk buggies and visit the museums and city
parks. The largest organ in the world is located in
the Atlantic City Convention Hall.

Newark
In addition to the airport, Newark has a lot more
to offer. Here, especially holiday guests get their
money's worth, who also value improving their
general education on vacation. Many original
museums, an excellent zoo and a planetarium are not
only fun for adults. The main museum consists of 80
galleries with exhibits from all areas of life, with
numerous individual pieces dedicated to science and
art. Those who dare can do a few laps on runners in
the Eisarena Prudential Center.
Princeton
The picturesque university town scores with many
green spaces and historic houses. In addition to the
university of the same name, the Einsteinhaus is
worth a visit. Numerous exhibits and documents
convey interesting knowledge about the world-famous
scientist and inventor of the theory of relativity.
Interstate landscape park
Hotels in the middle of a nature park? That is
actually not possible. New Jersey is an exception
and has managed to combine nature and tourism in
such a way that the two areas do not interfere with
each other. In the middle of the beautiful nature
park there are some sports centers and luxury hotels
that fit perfectly into the landscape.
Pinelands National Park
This park is ideal for active holidaymakers
because it has various hiking routes that offer a
wonderful view of the landscape. Although New Jersey
is comparatively small in terms of area, it is home
to numerous parks of different sizes.
Coastal area and beaches
A guide to New Jersey would be incomplete without
mentioning the fine, Atlantic-washed beaches on the
picturesque coast. Most beaches are designed for
families and therefore offer not only numerous
sports, but also entertainment programs that
children really enjoy. New Jersey is known for its
exclusive hotels and resorts. Many of them are close
to the beach. A popular beach resort is Ocean City
with the resort of the same name. Other popular
resorts are Cape May and Seaside Hights. One of the
largest beaches is the Island Beach State Park.
On the beaches and in the nearby nature reserves,
families will find everything that makes a great
vacation. The Garden State offers itself as a
year-round travel destination, because everything is
possible, from a summer beach vacation to a casino
adventure in Atlantic City to a winter vacation in
Capgaw Mountain. Active outdoor fans are also not
neglected. Paragliding, hiking, water sports, golf
and horse riding are just a few of the many ways to
keep yourself fit on holiday. |
